At the request of one of the largest manufacturers in India, Clark Wright Ltd have recently returned from a successful trip and meeting with Ashok Leyland, who manufacture the new front engined Janbus, India’s first low floor vehicle.
Gary Hammatt, Sales Director and Will Burton, Technical Director visited the manufacturing facility in Alwar, Rajasthan and the Technical Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and can confirm that both facilities are equipped with cutting edge technology for the design, manufacture and delivery of all new vehicles to customers in and around India and the sub continent.
Ashok Leylands Vice President confirmed his interest in eQuilt for both its sound attenuation and fire containment abilities for use in the new generation Janbus, and has requested further details and price structures, whilst the technical centre carries out trials on their test vehicle currently fitted with eQuilt.
As a commitment to Clark Wright Ltd, Ashok Leyland has requested prices for eQuilt kits to be supplied for 350 Janbus vehicles.
